Rooted and grounded in the Word of God, Smithwood Christian Church exists to fulfill the Great Commission by REACHING and TEACHING disciples for Christ.

What time does your worship service begin?
Our Sunday morning Worship Service begins at 11am.
How long do your services last?
Our typical Worship Service lasts about one hour.
How should I dress?
Come as you are! Most people will be wearing something similar to business casual but you will find everything from t-shirts and jeans to three-piece suits and dresses in a typical worship service.
What do you offer for kids?
On Sunday Mornings we offer an unstaffed Nursery called "The Wiggle Room" for those who need to step out for a moment to change a diaper or quite a little one. We also offer a staffed class for kids 18 months-5 years old called "Little Lights".
However, our Sunday morning Worship Services are "Family Integrated", meaning that each week we welcome all ages to participate in the worship of our Savior in the Worship Service itself. We provide a Children's Bulletin each week with activities that encourage our kids to follow along with our worship service and sermon. Pastor Derrick also has a Children's Moment each Sunday that summarizes the main ideas of the sermon to come. We understand that doing things the way we do can make our worship services a bit "messy", but that's okay! We like it that way!
